3+ years business analyst experience
Must come out of Insurance company with Commercial or Business Lines
4-year college degree or equivalent work experience
Able to write business requirements document for ITS related projects
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks and assignments
Self-starter/initiator with ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Visio
Able to work well with both internal and external customers
Additional Qualifications:
Business Analyst, CIC, CPCU or IIA courses
Prior commercial or personal lines underwriting Business Analyst experience
Understands commercial and/or personal lines coverage’s, rating rules, manuals and forms
Working knowledge of insurance processing system applications (i.e. policy writing, billing & receivables, underwriting, claims), web-based internet applications, legacy mainframe applications and how multiple systems are integrated with each other
Able to use and create reports in Business Objects
Understanding of rating algorithms for Commercial and/or Personal Lines
