Rate: up to $70K + bonus
Description: Develop & support in-house systems to conduct the operations. Work with existing development staff, business analysts, and users to design and build new solutions. Draw requirements out of users & lines of business, identify problems, assist users in conducting testing. 
EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent. 3 - 5 years of relevant experience. Working knowledge of algorithms and data structures. 
- Working experience in the C programming language. Knowledge of C++ is acceptable as a substitute in so far as it has not come at the expense of those C features of which C++ is considered a superset. Strong understanding of both low-level C programming concepts (pointers, arrays, macros, memory management) and high-level design approaches (imperative programming, object oriented programming). 
- Experience with SQL database concepts and transactional programming. 
- Domain knowledge of finance and financial mathematics a plus but not required. 
- Quantitative/mathematical knowledge beyond what would normally be covered in a top computer science undergraduate program a plus. 
SKILLS: Candidate should: 
- Have extremely strong interpersonal skills and maturity. Position requires very heavy interaction with end users in all stages of the design process. 
- Be able to explain complex concepts clearly, to technical and nontechnical users, in speaking and in writing, 
- Be able to absorb technical and business concepts very rapidly, 
- Be able to work independently on open-ended problems.
