Description:    Senior Level Citrix Architect/Engineer who can provide technical architecture guidance and leadership for internal Citrix solutions. 
As part of the Architecture and Engineering function this position will be responsible for: 
• Architecting highly complex solutions across a Citrix engineering environment to meet business requirements or enhance performance. 
• Reviewing cost analyses and vendor comparison reports to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations. Recommending vendor/approach and presents to senior management. 
• Reviewing and recommending complex systems investment(s) to management and customers based on results of independent assessment of current and future requirements. 
• Planning, conducting and overseeing the technical aspects of large, complex projects; coordinating the efforts of technical support staff. Reviewing completion and implementation of system additions and/or enhancements and providing management overview. 
• Developing training tools and documentation; overseeing implementation of same. 
• Reviewing literature, patents and current practices to support business requirements and/or new industry technology. Preparing reports and/or recommendations regarding new technology to appropriate personnel. 
• Providing leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel. 
• Providing technical support in evaluating, designing, implementing, and supporting a Citrix environment. 
• Assisting in developing methods to minimize customer impact, creating/editing project documentation, and transitioning new services to operational teams. 
• Showing the ability to clearly demonstrate awareness of and sensitivity toward the trends, technologies, constraints, and priorities regarding current and projected strategies. 
• Act as Project Manager for technical initiatives where multiple vendors, clients, employees contribute to the implementation of technology solutions (process includes: requirements gathering, proposal gathering, creating and implementation of timeline, overseeing task management, meeting management to deliver initiatives). 
• Authoring disaster recovery plans/solutions. 
• Carrying a company provided cell phone and participate as a member of an On Call rotation. 
• Performing other duties as assigned. 

The ideal candidate will have: 
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, systems engineering, physics, computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred. 
• Five or more years of experience in systems engineering, software engineering, operating systems programming. Technical experience should include experience with Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, Citrix Access Gateway Enterprise, Citrix Web Interface, Citrix StoreFont, AppSense Management Suite, Microsoft App-V and VMware vSphere. 
• 5-8 years as a Citrix administrator/engineer which includes experience in Citrix installation, application streaming; content redirection setup; roaming profile management, folder redirection. 
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C++, C#, ASP.NET and scripting languages such as VB script and PowerShell. 
• Experience working with design principles and banking applications. 
• Strong leadership skills to effectively mentor and lead junior level personnel. 
• Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills for design, creation and testing of complex systems. 
• Architecture experience preferred. 
• Strong communication skills to communicate systems proposals to management and customers and provide systems diagnoses and resolution for current systems. 
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers, senior level personnel, subordinates and team members. 
• Strong organization skills to prioritize work balance and lead complex projects. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team. 
• Ability to integrate highly complex hardware and software systems. 
• Selected applicant will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. 
• Windows Server Administration experience and/or installing applications on Microsoft application server 2003/2008R2. 
• Experience supporting a large-scale, multi-platform enterprise computing environment delivered via Citrix. 
• Experience in installation and monitoring of Application Servers. 
• Experience in administration of Windows 2003/2008R2 server and Active Directory.
