Description:    • BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Business or 15+ years of external/ inside sales experience 
• Experience and success in recruiting and retaining a high performance sales team and a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse sales team 
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales plans 
• Proven business analysis and judgment with the ability to proactively manage business and P&L to meet objectives 
• Demonstrated ability to professionally develop and coach team members 
• Strategy development, project management, problem solving, and change management skills 
• Ability to effectively present information and negotiate with all levels of management including CEOs, owners, etc. 
• Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills 
• Excellent computer skills. 

• Create and implement effective direct sales strategies and lead Nation-wide business development reps, key account reps and distribution manager toward achievement of corporate sales objectives 
• Develop competencies and processes required to create an effective and efficient sales organization 
• Identify training opportunities and implement 
• Provide leadership through effective communication of vision, active coaching and development while comparing sales results to goals and taking appropriate action to correct when necessary 
• Ensure effective hiring, orientation, training, development and retention of staff 
• Provide supervision through field visits, observations and measurement of results to include performance appraisals and salary reviews 
• Develop relationships with key personnel and decision makers at key accounts including NA distributors 
• Participate in contract negotiations with customers and sales team 
• Gather, assimilate and analyze customer market and competitive information and sharing with the sales team 
• Develop business message at industry trade shows and Regional industry groups 
• Manages the Marketing staff, delivery of all marketing activity (websites, literature, press releases, advertising) within agreed budget 
• Optimize lead process and monitor success of marketing activities thru lead generation and business gains 
• Ensure frequent, timely and positive media coverage for the business and its programs across all available media 
• Establish and maintain travel/entertainment budget for all sales and marketing team members.
