Description:    My client is a nationwide, industry leader in the Managed Services field providing clients with technical solutions from the design to on- going support and maintenance of the network infrastructure. They are growing tremendously and is looking for a Cisco Engineer/Technical Consultant to join their team in the Tampa metro area. 

This is a high level role with deep technical skill required to manage Cisco based client support offerings. The primary function of the role is to be the trusted technical advisor for select clients. The role requires onsite presence and an understanding of each client’s business needs and how they relate to the technologies being supported. 

Position Description: 
Must be adept and be able to speak to and implement the majority of following technologies (Cisco Unified Communications, Cisco routing and switching, wireless, Cisco ASA firewalls, Cisco UCS, and other technologies). Enterprise Architecture methodologies are a plus. 

Must be able to work independently and fill a leadership role (primarily) as part of a team. 

The successful candidate will have primary responsibility for ensuring overall client support satisfaction and managing client expectations. 

As a seasoned expert, you will accept issues that are escalated to them from various entry points. 

A high degree of understanding of modern Cisco Unified Communications, Cisco routing and switching, and Cisco Wireless. 

A can-do, upbeat attitude is required, with the willingness to go the extra mile to ensure client satisfaction. 

Travel is limited to Tampa metro area, 80% of time is spent on site at customer locations. 

Candidates must possess strong skills and experience across a range (not necessarily all) of the following skills: 

Management, monitoring and support of UC solutions that include : 

• Communications Manager(v 4-current), 
• Unity 
• Unity Connection 
• UCCX 
• Presence 
• Cisco Routing and Switching 
• Cisco Firewalls 

Desired qualifications: 
CCDP equivalent skills desired 
CCNP equivalent skills desired 
CCVP equivalent skills desired 
Must have at least 2 years of experience administering, engineering, and debugging Cisco Voice solutions. 
Must have experience with current Cisco routing and switching technologies 
Should be familiar with PCI compliance 
Cisco UCS knowledge a plus 
ITIL knowledge a plus 
Enterprise Architecture methodologies a plus
