Description:    Software Developer with 5+ years of experience to work on valuation in a multi-asset class firm.  Candidate must have a finance background and experience working directly with users on critical solutions.  The firm is expanding its instrument coverage and enhancing our existing pricing models, while improving scalability and extensibility in the valuation product suite.  Projects involve high availability, load balancing, performance optimization, instrument coverage, pricing model enhancements, market data feed integration and enhancement to our pricing analytics tools, amongst many other projects.  The successful candidate will work in a small team of senior developers and will have close interaction with development peers, accountants/CFA’s, quantitative analysts and various other business users. 

Required Skills 
Candidate must have strong communication skills, strong analytical skills and experience with all phases of the development life cycle.  Individual must be dynamic and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 
• Windows Environment 
• Database analysis and SQL experience 
• Background in iterative/Agile programming 
• Pricing models and pricing techniques 
• Parallel processing 
• Experience with various asset classes a plus:  FX, futures, equities, various options, fixed income, OTC products 
• Messaging experience - RV, JMS, EMS (or network programming) 
• Experience with Reuters and Bloomberg market data 
• Experience with FinCad a plus 
• Project management experience is also a plus
