Description:    Long Term Assignment 

An expert in Java - all around. All tiers of Java, superior knowledge of Core Java, JDBC, JMS, Spring, JBoss, JUnit, JNI. Must be very strong with OO design. 

§ Knowledge of Client-server concepts, (3 tier architecture concepts preferred), and GUI development concepts required, experience with Flex Builder preferred. 

§ Superior knowledge of relational database environment, Oracle preferred 

§ Knowledge of UNIX environment, Solaris preferred. 

Specific Business Knowledge and Experience Required: 

· Must have direct experience in the Financial Services industry, specifically experience working with market data feeds in the Fixed Income arena. 

· Must have Fixed Income systems and software development experience. 

· Some experience working with market data vendors such as Bloomberg, FTID, Lehman, etc. 

· 10+ years of software development experience including knowledge of systems development concepts including underlying technologies, database and application design and system architecture 

· 5+ years of involvement with fixed income investment practices 

· 2+ years of project management and organizational skills with ability to both lead and participate in cross-organizational teams; ability to initiate, track, and follow through on multiple ongoing projects
