BS/BA degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Communications or related discipline; MBA preferred. 
10+ years progressive experience in Marketing, Product Marketing, and/or Sales Enablement. 
Must also have at least five (5) years in managing or directing a Marketing function of significant size. 
Must have proven experience with demand generation programs and be able to provide examples of past campaigns and results. 
Successful track record in managing fast-growth enterprises, setting marketing organization-wide goals and objectives and meeting those targets in a timely manner. 
Ability to connect with and give direction to product management on customer and market requirements and positioning themes. 
Skill at managing and coordinating geographically dispersed and culturally diverse teams. 
Be a broad, out-of-the-box thinker capable of making decisions with less than perfect data. 
Have experience that shows sufficient presence and leadership to develop and maintain relationships with customers, strategic partners, executive staff, corporate management and other internal and external audiences. 
Have the ability to clearly articulate the division's mission and goals, motivate people to achieve those goals and be enthusiastically accepted as a leader. 
Be intuitive, intelligent, and high-energy, and have an open communication style with a strong teamwork orientation and ability to foster energy and enthusiasm at every level. 

The ideal person will have 10+ years of experience in Marketing with at least 5 years of managerial experience, including a track record of successful new product introduction., experience with customer nurturing, industry marketing, and multi-touch technology-based campaign execution in a related environment. Must be a proven results-orientated leader, able to show proof of taking marketing programs and initiatives from planning to quantifiable results. This will require a strong background in demand generation and measurement, as well as the ability to build and drive a high-performance team.
