Description:    Requirements 
This is a hands-on engineering leadership role which requires an executive who can effectively operate at both the 30,000 foot level as well as the code level. 
15+ years leading software development teams 
5+ years of experience with distributed teams 
5+ years of experience with off shore teams 
CS degree required, MBA a plus 
Proven track record of shipping software products on time and within budget 
Technical proficiency in the following areas: 
Software as a Service (SaaS) 
Time series data 
High availability enterprise grade solutions 
Understanding of Postgres, Flex a plus 
Excellent communications skills including writing, speaking, & facilitating 
Desire for high visibility within the organization as well as with external customers 

Responsibilities 
• Manage and build all software development teams, including onshore and offshore teams 
• Hire and develop world class engineers 
• Delight fortune 500 customers with powerful & insightful products and features 
• Develop to the company roadmap 
• Manage a fast pace of innovation using an Agile, iterative methodology 
• Coordinate closely with hardware team to build integrated products 
• Coordinate closely with Operations to deliver a highly available, reliable SaaS solution 

Responsible for meeting product deliverables, timelines, and budgets as well as make complex decisions about product investments. The software runs in the cloud and is a highly available, highly reliable solution designed for Fortune 500 enterprise users. The product is a data intensive solution with a highly intuitive UI with complex analytics and insightful visualizations.
