Description:    REQUIREMENTS 
Knowledge of corporate finance and accounting is required. A particular focus on the Latin American region is strongly preferred. 

Bachelor’s Degree required. 
Experience at a major U.S. or commercial bank as a credit analyst required. 
Excellent knowledge of those areas including major risk drivers, participants, country practices and key regulatory and risk challenges. 
In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting. 
Excellent time-management and multi-tasking skills. 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
Proficient in MS Office; excellent Word and Excel skills. 
Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills preferred. 

analyze various credit risk elements for corporate sovereigns in Latin America, trade-related transactions and some project finances applied for by business units to the Credit Department. The person in this position will present written executive summaries/comments of credit analysis to senior management within the Credit Department. Other responsibilities will include: 

Conducting risk analysis on a portfolio of corporates and sovereigns in Latin America and assisting in the preparation of commercial lending recommendations for the same to the Credit Department. 
Coverage also includes Latin American financial institutions, to be reported to Tokyo Head Office. 
Monitoring and supervising Warning Obligors and presenting written memoranda/reports to management. 
Managing compliance with internal policies, workflow procedures, regulations, etc.
