Requirements

BA/BS

3 or more years applied Ecommerce Architecture

5 or more years Ecommerce (online retail or related industry)

5 or more years Network Management Systems (tools, reporting)

5 or more years in Search solutions (ideal being Solr and Lucene) – i.e. search, indexing, configuration

5 or more years in Data solutions; e.g., data analytics, reporting, business intelligence

Ability to travel 10%

 

A visionary in the creation of Network Systems Management function within Engineering, to create internal (or procure and integrate external) tools and capabilities for the purpose of monitoring overall systems health. Consolidation and leadership in SOLR search functions, to create a single CoE for purpose of improving our capabilities, performance and features related to searching and indexing. Consolidation, defining vision for, and leading Engineering data analytics capabilities in support of the Analytics Product Manager and analytics product roadmap.

 

Responsibilities

Senior technology leadership across direct and indirect resources – up to and including Director level.

Definition of technology strategy, architecture and delivery approach.

Internal and external (client facing) evangelism to executive, business and technology audiences,

Key contributions in Product Strategy - including Executive, Product Council and Product Management.

Key contributions to Ecommerce and Platform architectural strategy and execution of same.

Primary subject matter expertise on all aspects of NSM, Search, and Data Analytics.

Key contributions to organizational, cultural change and development best practices.

Senior representative of a Technology team in client pitches, presentations, and meetings
