Description:   

Fortune 500 company located outside of Pittsburgh, PA has excellent opportunity for career minded individual with expertise in JDA Manugistics/Demand.

 

 

Responsibilities include

Installation and configuration of IBM WebSphere Commerce v6 – 7 on Linux, AIX and Windows

Maintain environments by applying necessary fixpacks/feature packs

Define and maintain architecture and technology standards and best practices for applications, middleware, and databases

Configure IBM WebSphere BANDDS build & deployment tool for Commerce applications or WCBD

Installation and configuration of DB2 for WebSphere Commerce

Proactively monitor and maintain the commerce sites and related systems, including monitoring, capacity planning, operational services, integration of enhancements, and other administrative efforts that pertain to the environment

 

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree

5-7 years' experience to include some Project Management

Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

General understanding of Network technologies (i.e. OSI Layer), Application security, DB2

Databases, Websphere MQ Messaging, JMS Messaging, AIX and Linux OS

Experience building solutions in a distributed architecture and ability to understand the interactions from end to end

Able to analyze and troubleshoot issues in WebSphere Commerce at the jvm level

Thorough understanding of IBM Websphere commerce and IBM http

Strong scripting skills and the ability to create complex SQL statements
