Description:   

A financial services firm located in Durham,North Carolina is looking for a Solaris/Linux Administrator consultant.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Diagnose and trouble shoot production issues.

 

Manage Performance and Capacity

 

Coordinate with Vendor, Storage, Network, Database and Clients pertaining to issues

 

Requirements: (Must have)

 

Solaris and Linux (Red Hat & SLES) with at least 5 yrs experience.

 

NIS, DNS and NFS, TCP/IP

 

Performance analysis and tuning

 

Disk suite or Veritas Volume manager

 

Veritas Cluster server

 

SAN technology knowledge from the point of view of a Unix Admin

 

Shell/Perl Scripting

 

Plusses:

Oracle RAC
