Description:   

The Underwriter is responsible for evaluating larger complex commercial lease and loan transactions by conducting due diligence on customers, financial statements and assessing strategic risks associated with their operations and industry.

 

This involves making sound lending decisions and recommendations on a timely basis that are consistent with our credit culture and business strategy and regulatory requirements. The position also requires solid communication skills and the ability to negotiate transactions with our customers as well as our internal partners. Occasional travel in the United States may be necessary

 

REQUIREMENTS

7 years commercial underwriting / credit experience, strong preference for equipment finance experience.
