SharePoint 2013 Admin Fort Lauderdale, FL


 
 
Summary:
Provides Microsoft SharePoint management, configuration, design, training and expertise.
Essential Job Duties:
·         Communicate with the business to gather requirements and translating them into business solutions.
·         Build out department and sub sites (content, user access, document uploads).
·         Create, manage and provide training to the content managers and users.
·         Enforce site standards (layouts, security process, etc)
 
Creates, changes, and deletes user accounts per request.
Investigates and troubleshoots issues.
Assist IT Support with SharePoint support calls and transition support related tasks to the team as reasonable.
Ongoing research to determine SharePoint best practices for scalability and maintenance.
Setup, maintain, and monitor user security groups for all sites, making sure they follow corporate standards and governance.
Follow the change control procedures for migrating solutions into QA and Production environment
Supply reporting on a daily/weekly/monthly/on demand basis to the SharePoint Governance Committee around total list of sites in production with URL, full site name, and all site owners.
Log all support calls, issues found and updates required in our incident tracking tool.
Reviews system and application logs, and verifies completion of scheduled tasks.
Performs regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
Performs regular file archival and purge as necessary.
Monitor and configure search services, define search scopes.
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
·         Ability to complete a project through the software development lifecycle, including initiation, requirements, design, construction/ programming, unit testing, deployment and support.
 
·         Communicates clearly and concisely in a variety of communication settings and styles. Effectively tailors the message to the needs of the audience.
·         Establishes goals and objectives which are specific, measurable, achievable and relevant.
·         Lays out work in a well-planned and organized manner.
Education and Experience:
·         Bachelor degree or equivalent desired.
·         Minimum of 3 years managing Microsoft SharePoint in a multi-farm enterprise environment.
·         Strong knowledge of Information Architecture and Taxonomy design related to SharePoint.
·         In depth experience with Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, Business Process and Forms, and/or Business Intelligence.
·         Experience in administration leveraging the Business Data Catalogue (BDC), Business Intelligence, and Document Management capabilities, InfoPath Forms Services, InfoPath Forms Designer and Enterprise Search.
·         SharePoint Designer experience a plus.
