Qualifications:

8+ years reporting and analytical experience OR a minimum of a Masters degree in programs such as applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics or computer sciences with 4+ years directly applicable work experience.

*3+ years’ experience in technical SAS programming / analytical / data mining

*Expert-level skill in using SAS/BASE, SAS EG, SAS Macros, SAS Arrays, PROC SQL, SAS/ACCESS, and SAS/ODS.

*Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio and Access

*1+ year experience transforming data using XML

*Demonstrated ability to work with large data sets

*Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and tasks simultaneously.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Manage SOX, regulatory reporting and risk management governance processes for all areas of the Accounting and General Ledger Operations team

Build on existing governance structure surrounding the Basel calculation and reporting processes including related technology infrastructure

Establishing and maintaining processes to monitor compliance with SOX and regulatory reporting and risk management governance

Leading processes to disseminate and implement new and interpretive guidance to the team on SOX, regulatory reporting and risk management governance requirements as needed

Participating in and leading other related Corporate Controllers projects as needed
