SUMMARY: The candidate will fulfill the role of server side developer for trading systems. Server development would include working with high transaction proprietary technologies. The candidate will interact with the US Shares team, management, traders and compliance to meet and support their requirements. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: -Server side development in C++. -Gathering requirements, writing specifications and implementation. -Providing business solutions. -Design/develop/modify/deploy programs, libraries in an object oriented environment. -Work with other developers to analyze, design, upgrade, maintain processes and data flow. -Put the changes through Quality Assurance process. -Production support of order management/trading system interfacing with traders/ brokers/ operations/developers. -Work with database for analytical purposes. EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: Required: Two+ years experience in server side development, preferably in Financial Services. Required: Extensive programming experience in C++ and scripting in Unix environment, preferably developing Trading systems. Required: Some experience with database interaction and analysis. Required: Strong communication/interpersonal skills. Must demonstrate ability to work with functional teams. Required: Self Motivated & Able to Adapt Quickly to Changing Business Environment. Preferred: Experience with trading systems and equities marketplace. Preferred: C# or MOTIF
