Responsible for the strategic leadership of human resources activities to support business and organizational objectives of the operation in Canoga Park, California. The responsibilities will include:
• Managing a staff of 8 HR Generalists supporting a population of approximately 2,000 employees
• Partnering with the General Manager and business leaders to align human resources objectives and initiatives with the business strategy
• Establishing innovative and effective human resources strategies in support of the organization's business objectives.
• Building stakeholder relationships and drive continued integration of people, business processes and leadership activities.
• Leading and facilitating change through the use of HR consultative skills and aligning them with business goals.
• Ensuring timely and high quality delivery of critical HR processes and programs such as employee fulfillment and retention, compensation and salary planning, development, performance management, talent acquisition, resource allocation, affirmative action planning, diversity agenda, leadership & succession planning and of their alignment with organizational needs and business strategies.
• Leading projects with significant scope and complexity within the HR organization as well as within the line organizations.
• Planning, forecasting and managing assigned operating budgets consistent with the company’s financial objectives.
• Participating in labor and employee relations activities, including collective bargaining.
• Utilizing the ACE (achieving competitive excellence) operating systems and activities to reduce waste, improve processes and enhance the quality and effectiveness of HR services.

Candidate Must Have :
* Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of direct HR generalist experience along with demonstrated leadership in HR consulting, coaching and counseling with senior business leaders.
* Candidate should also have experience with leading teams and change management and possess strong analytical, organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with a demonstrated track record of building and maintaining positive employee relations.
