The Equity/Options P&S Group Supervisor is responsible for supervising the comparison and reconciliation processes for OTC Equities, Listed Equities, and Options while supporting all business channels. Primary responsibilities include: Supervise the day-to-day operation of two teams (Equity P&S and Options Settlement P&S) includes planning, staffing, organizing, appropriate escalation to the P&S Group Manager. Exercises the usual authority as a supervisor in corrective action, performance reviews, budget, etc. Ensures completion of the group specialists’ daily responsibilities and their adherence to the Operational procedures, including but not limited to the NYSE daily Audit Trail, ACT Risk Management reviews, ACT Web Step-Out review and 3rd DK policy. Ensures Option Expiration Weekend daily processing checklist items are completed, including a review of the Expiring Exercise Declaration for accuracy, and submission of exercise requests to the OCC by 6:30PM EST on expiration Friday. Ensures daily production statistics are captured and that performance metrics are tracked. Supervises and holds associates accountable for gaining pre-approval of overtime. Maintains client relationships with the CCG division as well as with Wachovia Retail Head Traders. Supervises the P&S Conversion and De-Conversion procedures for the CCG division, ensuring proper arrangement of clearing agreements, set up of Listed Mnemonics, and proper transfer of Option Positions. Keeps abreast of all Industry initiatives that impact P&S Operations, and partners with Thomson/Beta, IT, and vendors to ensure that necessary enhancements are made as it relates to P&S workflow. Ensure that Policies and Procedures are kept current with any and all changes to workflow process. Ensure that aged out-of-balances have proper documentation in preparation for security count. Partners with P&S Analyst to make recommendations for process improvements, as he/she continually looks for operating efficiencies, while maintaining compliance. Reviews Suspense, Pre-settlement, and Error accounts daily and is proactive in addressing and preventing aging out-of-balances/positions.

REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of 5 years experience in Brokerage Operations, and Purchase and Sales experience is preferred. A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience, or equivalent demonstrated leadership experience. Strong communication (both verbal and written), interpersonal and analytic skills. Ability to prioritize, delegate, and supervise multiple tasks under extreme deadline pressure. Willingness and ability to work extended hours as needed. Beta back-office system experience is preferred. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, Power Point and Word. Must be familiar with ACT, DTC, OCS, and Encore systems. Accounting degree is preferred. Series 7 Licensed is preferred. Mon - Fri, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Candidate Must Have :
* 5 years Brokerage Operations experience. Purchase and Sales experience preferred

* Ability to prioritize, delegate, and supervise multiple tasks under extreme deadline pressure.
