Job Description:	Job Title Job Level Sales Tech - Sr. Database Dev (AD02) - Analyst Report Group Business Unit Technology Sub-Division Status Open Location Employment Type New York Full Time Regular Requirements We are looking to fill a position in our Fixed Income & Equities Client Reference Data Division. This individual will be part of a dynamic group that is responsible for defining and implementing centralized Client Reference Strategy. The candidate should possess minimum 5+ years of experience in data modeling, database design and development. The candidate should be able to interact and support the application development in JAVA/J2EE. This experience must include DB2/UDB (Linux) and Sybase (Linux/Solaris). The individual should have strong communication and analytical skills. The individual should be able to work in high pace environment and multi-task. Experience with client reference data projects preferred. Principal Responsibilities: - Design, Development and maintenance of the core DB components of OE application. - Analyze, design, data model, code, test and implement software solutions for OE - Provide support for all OE DB activities - Provide daily support of the OE application - Interface with downstream data consumers. - Insure data integrity and system stability Experience / Skills: - Data Modeling Skills (Logical and Physical) a plus, not required - Experience in DB2 (UDB) Development and support is a must - Sybase DB Development and support a plus - Knowledge of DB2 (UDB) and Sybase internals - Knowledge of Unix and Linux - Experience in Database Performance tuning techniques - Minimum of 3+ years experience - Experience in full project life cycle - Strong analytical skills - Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) Ability to manage multiple tasks
