Position Manager of Portfolio Administration Department Operations Institutional Accounting Job Responsibilities Work closely with Middle Office, Corporate Actions Group, Portfolio Managers and Marketing Group to assist with any needs they may have. Ensure that all daily responsibilities are being met and procedures are followed. Ensure that all checks are being done daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly. Closing Accounts in PAM and generating client reports. Establishing new work flows Recruit and assist in the training of new employees, as well as, participate in year end reviews. Allocation of work Setting priorities and direction Support new business and technology initiatives Qualifications · Knowledge of Bloomberg · Knowledge of PAM accounting system a plus · Knowledge of Equity, International, Fixed Income securities (TBA's, Futures, Repos, Reverse Repos, Treasuries, GNMA's, FNMA's) Corporate and Municipal Securities · Derivatives knowledge (SWAPS, Futures, Options, etc.) · PC proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Office products · Good client service skills. Participate in Quarterly Service Calls · Ability to delegate and reassign work and step in when needed · Train and develop employees · Positive can do attitude · Team player · Experience identifying and addressing process gaps and inefficiencies through use of good controls and technology Good risk management capabilities. Ability to apply metrics to measure and manage risk. Personal Characteristics Ability to work under pressure, adhere to deadlines and multi task Leadership skills - Intuitive people skills, build relationships, instill confidence, rally troops Strong organizational and follow-up skills Education · Bachelors Degree · 7 - 10 years experience in a similar environment
