Job Title: Internal Systems Software Engineer - Contract Duration: 6 Months+ Location: Boston Key Skills: Java, Web-based application support & administration, any scripting language, configuration management Job Description: Client is looking for a Software Engineer for a 6-month contract to administer and support internal web-based applications for the development team. Responsibilities: • A mix of release and builds, planning, installing and upgrading tools, setting up users, groups and environments as well as customizing work flows. • Administering, configuring and customizing various web-based applications and tools including: o Confluence o Jira o Subversion source control o Maven o Weblogic application server Qualifications: • Solid Java, scripting (Perl, Shell or Windows), UNIX (Linux), configuration management, multi-tasking and problem solving skills are required.
