Program Manager - Data Warehousing/ Business Intelligence - 2 positions open

 

80% travel

base to $150000 + target bonus of $20K (most people earn 150% of target or more)

Position Description:

 

This position is for Program Management for large & complex Business intelligence / data warehousing programs.  We expect that candidate should be able to provide Consulting, Client Relationship Management, Project Management and Team Building. He should have advanced knowledge of the business process and technology needs of large BI programs.

 

 

The successful candidate must have the following key attributes:

 

1.      Strong DW/BI program management expertise with at least 2-3 full cycle BI based either on generic best of breed products (Teradata, Oracle DW, Informatica, Cognos, Ab Initio, Business Objects etc.) or on the package based BI products (e.g. SAP BW, Oracle BI, Siebel Analytics, Peoplesoft EPM etc.)

2.      Implementation experience with a minimum of 10-15 years experience in the relevant fields.

3.      Significant experience in  developing and leading empowered teams deploying high-end business intelligence systems across industry verticals

4.      Teams under his/her direction to be focused on delivering full customer satisfaction and the practice certified CMM/SEI principals and procedures within a Project Management Office environment.

5.      Experience in managing matrixed and globally distributed teams, including vendors and outsourced developers. Experience in the design, build, maintenance, project estimating, planning, requirements gathering, report design, user navigation design, test planning, implementation and training

6.      Academic qualification aligned with the area of expertise

 

 

Additional attributes that would serve as significant differentiating factors include

 

1.      Preferably, BI experience in BFSI, LS or Manlog industry

2.      A critical thinker who has experience managing complex large-scale projects.

3.      Ability to multi-task, work in a demanding global team environment, understand and be responsive to customer needs, work under tight deadlines, quickly learn new technologies, work independently and a willingness to take ownership of problems

4.      Previous experience with having worked with offshore firms (Preferable) 

5.      Ability and enthusiasm to travel globally and locally to meet the business needs
