 Candidates must come out of a large environment, no small companies, no contractors, no job hoppers. Candidates must have High Availability Clustering, if they don’t, no go. Must have managed multi domains. The base is 100k + a bonus that is performance based and business based. Candidates must have a 4 year degree. Candidates must have an in depth knowledge of technology.

 

 

Enterprise Systems Group senior system engineers are responsible for the management, architecture, backup and monitoring of the MTV Networks/Viacom enterprise technologies which include Access Controls, Active Directory, Akonix, Blackberry, Content Addressed Storage (EMC Centera), Enterprise Vault, Exchange, Extreme-Z Print Server, File Server, Goodlink, Ironport, Live Communications Server, Macintosh File Services, McAfee ePO/Anti-Virus, Microsoft Identity Integration Server, Network Attached Storage (EMC Celerra), Outlook Web Access, Print Server, Public Key Infrastructure, RightFax, Storage Area Network (EMC Clariion), Systems Management Server, Trend ScanMail and Windows Mobile Access. The main focus for the two positions that we have open is Active Directory and Exchange. Candidates for these positions must understand the low level underpinnings of both technologies and be able to automate the management of these technologies through the WMI and ADSI providers using scripting/programming languages. Proven backgrounds in implementation and design with these technologies. We are also interested in candidates with strong EMC backgrounds with Clariion, Centera and Celerra technologies.
