Sr. Project Manager/Project Manager - Data Warehousing/ Business Intelligence - 5 positions open

 

80% travel

 

Position Description:

 

This position is for Project Management for large & complex Business intelligence / data warehousing programs.  We expect that candidate should be able to provide Client Relationship Management, Project Management and Team Building.

 

The successful candidate must have the following key attributes:

 

1.      Strong DW/BI project  management expertise with at least 2 full cycle BI based either on generic best of breed products (Teradata, Oracle DW, Informatica, Cognos, Ab Initio, Business Objects etc.) or on the package based BI products (e.g. SAP BW, Oracle BI, Siebel Analytics, Peoplesoft EPM etc.) with a minimum of 10 -12 years experience in the relevant fields.

2.      Experience in the design, build, maintenance, project estimating, planning, requirements gathering, design, test planning, implementation and training

3.      Accountability for all aspects of planning and managing projects from RFP response through specification, development, QA and UAT testing, deployment, post-production and subsequent enhancement phases including business process reengineering;

4.      Academic qualification aligned with the area of expertise

 

 

Additional attributes that would serve as significant differentiating factors include

 

1.      Preferably, BI Experience in BFSI, LS, Retail, TIME or Manlog industry

2.      Experience in managing matrixed and globally distributed teams, including vendors and outsourced developers

3.      Ability to multi-task, work in a demanding global team environment, understand and be responsive to customer needs, work under tight deadlines, quickly learn new technologies, work independently and a willingness to take ownership of problems

4.      Ability and enthusiasm to travel globally and locally to meet the business needs
