FOR NEW YORK Sr. Corporate Actions Specialist, Base to $85K, Bonus to 30% Note: Must Have Undergrad Degree Looking for a strong #2 to the current Supervisor. Need someone who wants career track to Sr. Management over the next couple of years but comfortable now as a senior member of the team.

Job Description:	Individual is responsible for processing all corporate actions related to fixed income instruments including, but not limited to:  consent solicitations, options to call issues, options to put issues, redemption offers, conversions, exchanges, tender offers and final payments.     Responsibilities/Duties:     §         Complete all related paperwork associated with a corporation action (e.g., holdings certification).  §         Maintain Corporate Action database in line with information received from custodians and information providers. §         Handle and process time critical information. §         Process all mandatory and voluntary corporate actions. §         Monitor Portfolio Manager decisions and respond to the custodian in the required timeframes in the required manner. §         Ensure acknowledgement of receipt of instruction for all custodians. §         Process all actions in Invest One and Advanced Trading Platform, as appropriate. §         Resolve complex problems relating to changing positions / transactions during corporate action periods and deals with brokers to ensure positions are protected. §         Monitor voluntary corporate actions to ensure full entitlement is received. §         Pay close attention to detail and understand the risks associated with time critical information. §         Ensure full compliance with internal procedures and controls. §         Develop and implement new initiatives and assist with process re-engineering projects for all corporate action related initiatives including internal technology improvements as well as implementing external custodian based solutions.       Competencies:     §         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills §         Strong computer skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel §         Strong analytical and problem solving skills §         Five plus years of related experience       Academic Qualifications (minimum requirements):     Undergraduate degree in related field.
