Job Description:	Principal QA Analyst   DESCRIPTION: As a Quality Assurance Engineer you will be responsible for ongoing performance testing, regression testing and analysis of enhancements to our market-leading trade order management network.   The ideal candidate will be able to develop detailed test plans/scripts, execute these tests on multiple operating systems and platforms, and analyze the test results.  Investment industry experience and MS SQL/Sybase database knowledge a must, knowledge of trade order management software and portfolio modeling strategies a plus.   RESPONSIBILITIES: .Perform manual and automated tests on multiple operating systems and platforms. .Analyze results testing results. .Contribute to regression test by developing and scripting test cases and analyzing results of regression test. .Report software errors to the Development group. .Provide regular progress reports to the Quality Assurance Manager. .Review design specifications and create workflow based test plans. (Industry Knowledge a relevant skill.) .Apply quality procedures and test standards to testing activities. .Participate in other departmental projects as deemed necessary.   QUALIFICATIONS: .BA/BS degree. .Industry Knowledge - 2-4 years of Equity, Fixed Income or Mutual Fund experience. .VB or Automated test tool experience, a must. .Relational Database experience in Sybase and SQL Server .Proven Analytical and problem solving skills. .Ability to write comprehensive test  plans/scripts. .Excellent communication and organizational skills. .Demonstrated ability to prioritize workloads. .Self motivated. .Experience working with Extreme Programming (XP), trade order management, and portfolio modeling software, a plus.
