Global Sales Technology aims to deliver an application portal for Fixed Income, Equities and Prime Services.  This portal serves as a one stop shop for sales, research, and trading communities globally to encourage client focus and increase business.  The team is responsible for implementing new application components, integrating existing components, and pulling together data from various sources.

Responsibilities:

• Front to back design, development and implementation of new components that are scalable and reusable.
• Enhancements/modifications to the existing application components.
• While the role will not require database modeling, the individual will need to understand database or data mart concepts/functions in order to effectively perform the responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6+ years JAVA programming experience with design, development and implementation of projects using J2EE, JSP/Servlets, EJB and other related technologies.
• Solid knowledge of all phases of software development life cycle.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns.  (Working knowledge of Struts or Spring Framework a plus.)
• Working knowledge of HTML, DHTML, Javascript, CSS, XML, JSON, and AJAX.
• Good understanding of database principles (Sybase or UDB a plus)
• Knowledge of ANT a plus.
• Prior experience with rich client applications a plus.
• Experience with Weblogic a plus.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate to coworkers.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
