Team leader  - Jersey City  - can do 120 base for right candidate (if the candidate is strong on VB and is not as strong on Java that would be fine for this need)

Project Description:
ASAP, Automated Settlements And Payments, is a derivative payment system which receives payments from different source systems. The main functionalities of the system are to create payment notice, confirm and release payments and do journaling. The web portal gives prime broker access to their payments.

Role/Responsibilities:
Projects involved development of the key modules and functionalities ranging from front-end Visual Basic development to backed end Java/TIBCO/JMS.

Requirements:
Strong design and analytical skills on technical development.
Involved in full project life cycle from design, coding, implementation to support.
Strong communication skills.
Comfortable with Windows and UNIX/Linux environment
Knowledge of VB, Excel Macro/Addin
Knowledge of Java, XML and Weblogic
TIBCO and JMS messaging will be plus
Strong knowledge in relational database - Sybase
Knowledge of financial products
