Software Engineer - Data Services - (US-KS-Lenexa)

Compensation: $60K - $70K / Year

Travel Required : Upto 5 %

You will utilize your expertise in Crystal Reports and Report writing to be responsible for design, development, documentation, and testing of Reporting services for Mediware Information Systems under routine supervision.
All duties must be completed in a timely and efficient manner as necessitated by business need.
Performs program and system design, program and system development, testing, debugging, implementation, maintenance and administration as necessary.
Participates in requirements gathering and systems and project analysis
Complies with IT standards and procedures for quality assurance/quality control, program specifications and structure, naming conventions and documentation as described in the standard operating procedures.

Required Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent degree
Minimum of 2+ years experience as a professional developer
Minimum of 2+ years experience using Crystal Reports and Crystal Report's API to create complex reports and reporting service frameworks
2+ years of experience working in the data access tier with ADO.Net required. (C# preferred)
2+ Enterprise databases experience (Informix preferred)
1 year object oriented design and analysis
Experience gathering and documenting system requirements
Be able to analyze/debug problems and be proactive in proposing and implementing solutions
up to 5% travel may be required

Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with clinical software systems
Experience with InstallShield
Experience using agile development methodologies such as RUP, XP or SCRUM

Candidate Must Have :
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent degree

* Minimum of 2+ years experience using Crystal Reports and Crystal Report's API to create complex reports and reporting service frameworks
* 2+ years of experience working in the data access tier with ADO.Net required.
