Financial Analyst (Cost/Freight & Distribution) - (US-FL-Bradenton)

Compensation: $57K - $75K / Year

Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparation of the Annual Operating and Detail Forecast Plans for Transportation Cost Centers.
-Perform period-end close duties including analysis of operating budget variances and booking general ledger entries ( accruals and reclass entries).
-Review period-end results with Operations managers and supervisors and Financial management.
-Perform periodic reconciliations of freight Balance Sheet accounts.
--Be active participant in Supply Chain to ensure that the transportation function is an integral value-added component.
-Work on special projects as assigned.

Requirements:
-BS Degree � Accounting or Finance
-2-3 years of relevant work experience.
-Solid accounting skills necessary
-Standard cost preferred, but not required.
-Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
-Ability to interface with various levels of management.
-Solid communication skills, verbal and written.
-Experience using Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word, as well as some type of General Ledger and Cost Systems (SAP experience preferred but not required).
