Job Description:	Position: Fixed Income Business Analyst Position Summary: The Fixed Income Business Analyst (BA) has the primary responsibility to elict, analyze, validate, specify, verify, and manage the real needs of the project stakeholders, including the business or end users. The BA serves as the conduit between the business or customer community and the software development tean through which requirement flow. A FI BA may be involved at some level throughout the entire system or software development life cycle. Primary responsibilities include developing the requirements baseline during the Requirements and Design phases of the project cycle. Additional deliverable and support may be required during the Implementation and Testing phases. Location: The BAs are based at 320 Park Avenue The business subject matter experts are located  in midtown  Job Responsibilities Support the implementation of broderage applications by delivering high-level projects proposals, business requirements, functional specifications, use cases and screen mock-ups. Functional requirements are written usin UML. Work with subject matter experts to produce process flow charts, architectural diagrams, and design documents process flow charts, architectural diagrams, and design documents. Write user documentation such as user guides, quick reference guides and release notes. Write technical documentation such as system administrator guides. Work closely with business users, developer, and other subject matter experts throughout the software development lifecycle. Requirements Brokerarage industry experience with Fixed Income Order and Trade Entry applications Product Knowledge to support Trading, Execution and Clearing Services in some of the following products is required: Convertible Debt Credit Derivatives Emerging Markets Foreign Exchange Furtures and Options on Futures High Yield and Distressed Debt Interest Rate Derivatives Investment Grade Debt Mortgage Products Municipal Debt Repo U.S. Government and Agency Debt Familiarity with Clearance, Retail, International, and Back Office Operations are a plus. Minimum of 5 years Business Analysis experience Excellent analytical, written, and verbal skill (writing samples required) Ability to multitask, work quickly under pressure, and learn new technologies Excellent organizational skill; project tracking experience using Workbench a plus Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Visio. Familiarity with MS SharePoint, PowerPoint, PhotsShop, PaintShop Pro and Snaglt a plus
