Job Description:	TITLE:                    Software QA Tester (Quantitative Mathematics/Automation)   REPORTS TO:       QA Manager                                                                                                                                                      PRIMARY PURPOSE: Work with QA Engineers and Business Analysts to develop test cases, validate accuracy and integrity of results, and implement successfully tested software. The ideal candidate would have both a development and business background with QA experience. RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES: Responsibilities include developing, implementing and executing automated and manual test cases for extensions to existing and newly developed applications both in-house and purchased. This includes identifying and tracking bugs and working with developers to ensure bugs are fixed, as well as being responsible for automation of features; working closely with programmers to reproduce and isolate problems; participating in ongoing product specification and code reviews. SKILLS / COMPETENCIES:   Technical Qualifications:   Minimum of 5 years software test experience in the following areas:  client/server systems, web-based applications, Excel-based software, Quantitative Mathematics. Knowledge of automated testing suites such as AutomatedQA, WinRunner, and JUnit plus structured programming languages such as Delphi, Java, C#, or Visual Basic desired. Oracle, Sybase and SQL knowledge needed. Candidate must be experienced in both Black and White box testing.  Ability to implement and maintain customized automated tests for batch and non-gui applications. A strong past development back ground a plus. (2-3 years) Business Qualifications: 5 years experience in trading environment required, commodities preferred.  Business analysis skills with knowledge of front and back office processes are a plus.  Strong written and verbal communications skills and ability to work well within a team environment are a must.    DEGREES / CERTIFICATION / LICENSE / EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree required
