Financial Systems Analyst

Department: Financial Systems & Controls

Salary Range: $75,000-$100,000

 

Overview:

The division is a technology group based within the Corporate Financial

business area of the Company.  The group is responsible for the production

support of the SAP FI, BW and Enterprise Portal systems.  In addition, the

group develops financial and other applications that are used throughout

the enterprise.  This position is will provide support for the reporting

and data management functions that the division supports for SAP BW, R/3

and financial applications.

 

Duties and Responsibilities of Position:

   Design and manage SAP R/3 and BW reports.

   Maintain Data Warehouse environment and data.

   Provide technical assistance and support to financial business users.

   Provide technical training to users in a classroom setting.

   Research, recommend and develop system enhancements.

   Address system testing in conjunction with system upgrades and support

      packs.

   Develop and maintain WEB based reports.

 

Requirements for Position:

   Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science,

      Management Information Systems or Accounting Systems.

   Familiarity with accounting concepts and general ledger systems.

   Proficiency of database query and reporting concepts.

   Knowledge of application development concepts.

   Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills

   Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work well

      in cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks

 

Additional Comments:

Position will also provide support for the development and use of SAP R/3

reports and third party reporting tools such as Crystal Reports. Experience

with creation of Database reports supporting financial environments is

essential.
