Job Context	Team Lead/Tech Architect
Purpose and Responsibilities	Senior Analyst Programmer / Technical Architect role. As a senior analyst programmer / senior technical architect on the key Settlements Manager component of an Equity Back Office platform you will be responsible for designing and implementing future state architecture – working with senior analysts & developers.

 

 

1. Your role will include ensuring that enhancements are designed and delivered to specification, fulfilling the Design Authority role and ensuring the platform risk is managed appropriately. Skills required for this role include:   Essential Personal Skills Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Self-motivated, independent and goal-oriented. Ability to assess current state architecture, define future state and set technology roadmap. Understanding underlying architectural and design principles for Transactions processing Proven experience in the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis, through design, build and deployment a solutions. Previous Investment Banking experience.   Essential Technology Experience 5+ years Object Oriented/J2EE experience. Specifically EJBs, Struts, JSP and servlets. 5+ years Oracle PL/SQL / Database architecture. 3+ years experience of building systems in a data driven environment using technologies such as XML. Familiarity with UNIX commands and scripting (ksh, sh).
