SQL DBA Philadelphia to $75000 +bonus for hedge fund

 

Position:  SQL DBA

 

Pay Range:  $50000 - $75000 + bonus

 

Job Summary:  Candidate will develop and maintain SQL Database and software solutions for a division of a hedge fund.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Development and maintenance of proprietary and third party databases
• Tune system performance and analyze capacity
• Development of software solutions for the firm
• Deploy, integrate and maintain peripheral applications and systems
• Recommend infrastructure changes and/or database environment optimization

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• SQL, C/C++ C#, VB/VBA

 

Credentials and Experience:

• 1+ year SQL DBA experience
• 1+ years of front office development experience in finance industry
• 1+ years C/C++ C#, VBA, VB, development experience
• Basic understanding of Financial Instruments such as Equities, Futures and Bonds
• Experience with large data sets
• Expected to take ownership of projects.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
