Experience and Skills Required:
5+ years experience .Net developer using SQL2000/2005 environment.
A minimum of 2 years experience in the Investment Management, Private Equity or Hedge Fund environment required
BS in Computer Science, MCSD certified or equivalent experience
Experience for investment management firms is required

Technical Skills - Required
VB.NET or C#.NET
Solid SQL knowledge, including Stored Procedures, Triggers, and Table Design
A Working Understanding of Implementing Transactions
Portia, Eagle/PACE, CDOSuite

As a member of the IT team, your duties will include:
Design and development of various investment related applications and reports. Provide guidance to more junior developers through code reviews and sharing of best practices. Comply with the Software Development Life-Cycle and project methodology. Participate in project meetings to understand application and database requirements
Provide after hours support as required. Work with Business Analysts and/or Directly with Users to Gather Specifications. Write Pre-Development Technical Specifications. Debug and Repair Existing Applications/Reports. Ability to Provide Creative Solutions Based on Past Experience that may serve the company better
Write Post-Development Technical Documentation
Assist with QA in Developing Test Scripts
Adhere to policies and procedures set out by the department

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated leadership capabilities
