Due to rapid growth of the business and recent IPO, we have a new position within the corporate finance organization., this position will manage the monthly consolidation of US and International subsidiaries under IFRS and will be responsible for reporting monthly reporting. This role will also be the company-wide lead person in dealing with all technical accounting issues. This will entail the interpretation and implementation of existing accounting standards to ongoing company transactions, as well as, monitoring and reporting on new developments surrounding international accounting standards.

More detailed responsibilities of this position include:

·         Preparation and analysis of external reports

·         Worldwide corporate consolidation based on IFRS requirements

·         Technical accounting oversight, including development of policies and interpretations of new IFRS pronouncements

·         Internal reporting to senior management, including variances analysis and performance assessment

·         Participation in annual audit and quarterly earnings release

Candidates must have the following: 

·         8-12 years Accounting experience including public company financial reporting

·         Accounting degree required

·         CPA or Chartered Accountant

·         International Accounting experience

·         Ability to effectively supervise the day-to-day activities of direct reports

·         Experience with financial software applications, knowledge of Sun Systems a plus

·         Ability to take on and complete additional projects

·         Highly organized, detail oriented with excellent follow through skills and ability to prioritize

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Career minded individual with a team player approach
