You may have heard that I launched my first 3 products-- an ebook and 3 CD audio of Get Yourself Hired NOW! and an ebook of Get Your Job Search Organized NOW!

What you may not know is that since launching the product, I have been emailing tips, reminders and suggestions to people of things they can do speed along their search efforts. Sites you may not know of and tricks to keep yourself higher on  search results so you get more phone interviews.

Everyone knows about the importance of networking and almost everyone in the US knows of LinkedIn as a great business networking tool (if you want to connect with me on LinkedIn, this is my profile--send an invitation to me and I'll forward requests you make to people in my network).

How about ZaaBiz?

Both are very good social network services. Konnects is US headquartered. Zaabiz is based in Australia and is making a strong move into the US and Asia. Neither is teen oriented like some of the others. They want to put professional and business networks together.

I mention them in order start laying the foundation NOW for your next job change. Sign up with both and create a profile for yourself. Update it from time to time with professional news about yourself. Don't turn them into pseudo-MySpace services. Treat them like LinkedIn.

Here's a new service I learned about this week that isn't in the book.

RiseSmart provides a unique service for senior professionals. They are a human-powered job search portal that prescreens online search results for time-starved managers and executives. In other words, you don['t have to subscribe or go to tons of sites--they do it for you.
