Compensation: $90K - $115K / Year
Experience Required : 3 - 5 years
Travel Required : 0-10%
The job holder leads the overall design and oversees the development of cross-functional, multi-platform applications systems. S/he develops application architecture and blueprints and defines application components, platforms, interfaces, and development tools. S/he also provides technical guidance to application development teams, consults on integration and conversion issues and participates in mapping technology-independent applications architecture to the chosen technology platform.
This person will support the Summit and Murex derivative trading applications for Global Markets:
First level application system support for Summit and Murex for end users as well as the data center.
Analyze user requirements and write functional/system specifications.
Implementation of custom pricing models into the Murex and Summit applications.
Design, develop and deploy interfaces and custom reports.
Project leader for several Summit and Murex related tasks.
Candidate should have:
Minimum of 5 years experience in C++, Sybase, and UNIX
Experience with Summit, Murex or Derivatives Trading System.
Experience in building real-time interfaces between heterogeneous systems.
Some working knowledge of MQ Series is a plus.
Good problem solving and communication skills.
Experience in systems project life cycle is preferred, i.e., SDLC/CMM
Two years experience managing developers; proven project leader.
College degree in Computer Science/Math/Science/Engineering is required.
Job holder must have in-depth knowledge of information architecture policy and infrastructure. Prior experience with defining and implementing information architecture, principles, blueprints and standards for information management required. Job holder must be an effective oral and written communicator, skilled in negotiations and customer-service oriented
