Business Analyst Manager - up to $125K base - this position reports into the Product Delivery Manager and will lead the BA's  

 

The Business Analyst Manager at The client provides leadership and industry expertise to the Business Analysts team. The Business Analyst Manager reports to the Delivery Manager and works in close collaboration with the Product Managers to create and execute Product Release plans distributing work among Business Analysts team, providing timely status on work accomplished, resolving and escalating team issues.   The Business Analyst Manager participates in and leads the collection and understanding of business requirements with clients and The client internal teams.  The Business Analyst Manager provides expertise during design and development phases of product delivery, reviews development at various stages to ensure that the deliverable performs as expected. 

 

Required Experience

A good candidate would possess the following:

• 5+yrs of relevant experience
• BA/BS, MBA preferred
• Excellent product knowledge; preferably derivatives, Fixed Income, FX, and/or commodities
• Strong management skills
• Ability to review others work and mentor
• Good functional understanding of technology
• Good understanding of structured developmental methodology
• Understanding the impact of issues on project schedules and scope
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Expertise in collecting and understanding business requirements, and translating these into requirements documents, use cases and functional specifications.
• Good experience with the design of test plans and test cases
• Ability to prepare necessary documentation (Requirements, Functional Specification, Release notes, etc.)
• Ability to communicate issues clearly to both business and technology professionals
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks
• Self motivated and driven to succeed; tenacious in obtaining results
