Job Description:	PROJECT ACCOUNTANT---REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT AND CONSTRUCTION     General Contractor with multiple projects in the tri-state area is seeking an experienced Project Accountant to work on exciting construction and development projects. Prior experience in construction and proficiency in the use of Timberline software is preferred.   Primary Responsibilities   Work with project managers to prepare project proformas and budgets; Work with legal and financial officers to monitor contracts and execution of payments; Track pay requisitions, requests for information, change orders and schedules; Author detailed budget progress reports, variance reports and cash flow reports; Work with Project Managers to evaluate and negotiate change orders; Ability to work many complex projects simultaneously and contribute productively in a team environment; Maintain quality standards throughout the project.   Requirements:   3-5 years of work experience, preferably in Construction or Real Estate Development; Experience with Timberline, specifically with Job Costing module, and Excel; Familiarity with proformas, financing, real estate and construction; Excellent oral and written communication skills required along with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff at all levels; BS in Accounting or related discipline preferred.   Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.  Benefits; EOE.
