This senior position will have responsibility for the ongoing design, development and maintenance of an Inventory Forecasting and Management product, initially managing a team of 5 engineers.

This is a very hands on technical lead position, and requires in depth knowledge of Jave/J2EE, OLAP, ETL, Data Modeling, Oracle/PL-SQL. The short term focus will be primarily on shoring up product quality, followed by a longer term plan to build out new functionality.

Required skills and background:
- 8+ years experience as professional developer
- 3+ years experience as lead developer in an OLAP environment with ETL technology
- 5+ years experience as Java developer
- 2+ years experience with J2EE technologies and design patterns
- Strong focus on coding practices and methods that promote code quality
- Strong focus on unit testing and other best practices for code quality
- Ability to take over existing team and code base
- Ability to coach/mentor more junior staff to produce high quality code
- Ability to work closely with Product Management to help flesh out functional specs
- Ability to create technical specs from functional specs
- Ability to create and execute project plans
- Working knowledge of common Web application frameworks and patterns
- Knowledge of and experience with transactional applications
- Working knowledge and deep experience with application level performance optimization
- Experience with online advertising applications a plus
- Ideally, candidate would have experience working for a hosted application software provider in B2B environment
