This position will be responsible for supporting the physical trading component of the commodity derivatives desk and handling all aspects of physical commodity movements including scheduling, logistics, nominations, communication with customers, pipeline and storage operators, and inventory management. The products involved will be natural gas and natural gas liquids. This is a new business and the candidate should be someone willing to build out the infrastructure as needed to support the desk.
REQUIREMENTS:
The candidate should be a goal-oriented individual, with 1-3 years experience in the derivatives business and knowledge of energy derivatives. Must have existing experience with scheduling commodities on US Pipelines or extensive experience with physical transactions. Knowledge of natural gas and natural gas liquids required. Experience with Endure to schedule physical transactions a plus. Solid technical skills including Microsoft Excel and Access required. Mon - Fri, 40 Hours
Candidate Must Have :
* Experience scheduling commodities on U.S. pipelines
* Extensive experience with physical energy commodities transactions
