Small company - 20 or so here in the US, plus a team in Paris.
They are a -profitable and well established international Internet startup and they need a Project Manager to help take their web applications to the next level. Strong PM experience in fast-paced environments as well as excellent communication skills and familiarity with off-shore stakeholders all essential.
Responsibilities:
* Manage both complex and simple projects.
* Manage ticketing system to create weekly milestones for release schedule in line with stakeholder and executive priorities.
* Coordinate testing and approval of new features with global test resources and foreign stakeholders.
* Develop and maintain thorough and documented project plans for large scale projects - i.e., outline project scope with client, set resource needs, set project goals, create the project plan, and oversee development and delivery.
* Manage local and foreign stakeholder relationships and communication throughout the project development/QA process.
*Build strong working relationships with executive sponsors and stakeholders.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Excellent Project Management and communication skills.
* Strong knowledge of Internet development in a fast-paced environment.
* Understanding of standard Internet technology (HTML, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL)
* Experience with QA testing.
* Demonstrated ability to extract requirements from non-technical personnel.
* Has led a number of significant web-based software projects from start to finish – from definition of requirements through release and ongoing maintenance
* Min. 3-5 yrs experience managing complex projects.
* Good presentation skills; excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Ability to communicate with business people about business issues and with technical people on technical delivery detail.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree.
* Professional project management accreditation preferred, but not required.
