Compensation: $70K - $85K / Year

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor Degree in Math, Actuarial Science, or Engineering.
ASA or EA designation. 5+ years experience as a pension actuary. Advanced experience with Microsoft Office product suite. 5+ years experience developing presentations and presenting complex information clearly to clients. 5+ years experience mentoring and training actuarial analysts.

PREFERRED:
Relevant experience with ProVal and/or Access.
Direct experience with the 2006 Pension Protection Act and ERISA. Demonstrated success in building effective relationships with internal partners, key stakeholders, and clients. Relevant project management experience. Demonstrated experience managing complex details effectively. Clear and concise written and oral communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review valuation and benefit calculations for both pension and retiree medical plans. Mentor and train Actuarial Analysts. Ensure that projects are completed in a timely manner. Complete government filings, including IRS 5500 and PBGC forms. Effectively partner with consultants on pension and retiree medical plan issues. Develop and present client information in partnership with consultants.
Provide client support for day to day functions, data collection/reporting, and data intrepretation.

Candidate Must Have :
* Bachelor Degree in Math, Actuarial Science, or Engineering.
* ASA or EA Designation
* 5+ years experience as a pension actuary.
