Senior developer to become part of an innovating team, subject matter expert and integrator of Windows 2000 and NT application development projects. They will be working on the infrastructure components of a web portal that provides real-time data, analytics and analysis tools for sales, trading and research to collaborate with customers on current and future trade ideas. The system operates on a MS SQL database, Windows 2000 application layer, C++ middleware and UNIX proxy and web servers. The three layers are integrated by use of socket communication, XML requests/responses and C++/.Net COM middleware components. This person will be working on the backend while interacting with front-end developers and at times with business users. Primary responsibilities include: ? Analyze, design, write and redesign critical server side components ? Design and write components in C++ and C# .Net using SQL ? Design, develop and implement reusable C / VC++ / C# class library API?s ? Design, implement, and performance tune both SQL stored procedures and embedded SQL.
