Job ID: | Job-0407 | Job Title: | ATG eCommerce Architect | location: | Anywhere in the USA | Jobtype: | Permanent | Description: | 80% Travel anywhere in the USA • 10+ years of total IT experience with special focus on architecture, design, and development of Multi-channel eCommerce and J2EE applications • 4+ years of hands-on experience with various ATG modules such as Commerce, BCC, CSC, CA, and Search • Integration Knowledge of ATG platform with various services o [Tax integration with Taxware], o Recommendations integration with ATG Recommendations, Rich Relevance o Payment integration with BML, Paypal, Cybersource etc. o Exposure to A/B testing tools such as SiteSpect, Optimost, and Adobe/Omniture • Knowledge of various eCommerce frameworks such as IBM Commerce, Hybris, and Demandware • In-depth knowledge of various performance optimizations on client side, server side, and database • Hands-on experience with SOA including RESTful services • Knowledge on implementing the OWASP standards for web security. • Experience in using various web security vulnerability tools like WhiteHat, IBM AppScan, WAF etc. • Knowledge on using various code quality tools like PMD, SONAR • Experience working with application servers such as JBoss, IBM, BEA Weblogic, ATG Dynamo, preferably on JBoss • Experience working with web servers such as Apache, IBM HTTP Server, IIS, preferably on Apache 2.2+ • Experience working with ESBs such as TIBCO, webMethods, and JBoss ESB • Experience working with search engines such as Endeca, Mercado, Verity, preferably on Endeca • Should have excellent client facing skills and comfortable communicating with senior IT leadership team • Ability to work with business users, product managers, QA, Release, UI and cross-functional teams • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to work in an unstructured, fast-paced environment • Experience in similar roles at prominent Internet companies, with understanding of scaling issues. Preferred: • Able to compare the features , best practices/techniques across commerce frameworks for better adoption in the project • Knowledge on Home grown, third party PIM tools • Knowledge on integrating with Order Management systems like Yantra • W3C compliance and conventions • Exposure to various server configurations for better maintainability and performance such as JBOSS, Apache and should be working closely with the Server admin team Roles & Responsibilities: • Works with Retail ecommerce customers to enhance the existing architecture, proposing the new alternatives in the areas of security, performance, scalability, better usage of OOTB features of ATG • Design reviews and Code reviews from the architectural point of view • Ensures the technical quality of project deliverables • Evaluating the new frameworks, tools for the better usage in the project • Operate independently with minimal direction, set direction and bring ideas and solutions to issues raised • Communicating the issues in the project in timely manner with other peer-architects, customer product managers, Customer Management team, QA, Support and the Offshore team • Contribute to the development of reusable components • Contribute to the development of eCommerce practice • Mentoring of developers and junior architects • Keep upto date with latest eCommerce trends and apply them to solve business challenges Email resume in Word to TheBigGameHunter@cisny.com.
