Description:    Job Responsibilities: 

· Perform certification and conformance testing (confirm that clients have correctly implemented agreed to FIX specifications) 
· Interaction with Business Support Group to gather System Requirements & Client Specifications, translating them into FIX specifications, maintaining FIX rules of engagement. 
· Follow up with clients until issues are resolved 
· Create rule based configuration to accommodate client specific requirements 
· Creating and editing XML based configuration files 
· Develop and implement certification strategies, standards and processes 
· Continually and effectively communicate status progress to business, management and project team 
· Consult with development engineers and product development team to resolve problems 

Desirable skills and experience: 
· Experience with trading systems and/or Market Data 
· Good knowledge of Algorithmic Trading, Equity Cash & Program trading, Direct Market Access trading 
· Good knowledge of Futures and Options order flow 
· Experience creating and editing XML files 
· Exposure to IBM MQ series, TIBCO EMS would be a plus 
· Experience using VeriFix, Aegis simulator 
· Shell scripting experience 

Qualifications: 
· Very strong FIX Protocol knowledge and Client Integration experience (FIX 4.2 & 4.4) 
· Rules-based tag manipulation of FIX messages 
· Familiarity with UNIX and UNIX tools 
· Client facing experience – phone, email, and instant message 
· External client facing experience with institutional clients, highly preferred, but not required 
· Excellent communication skills
