Description:    Develop new features that makes market data actionable and facilitate idea generation for brokers and their customers. This position emphasizes a need for an artistic mind to conceptualize, design and develop reusable graphic/data visualizations. 

Responsibilities 

- Lead the complete lifecycle of our web applications. 

- Develop rich interactive graphics and data visualizations of "large" amount of structured data. 

- Design underlying database structure/caching systems to ensure performance of the front-end. 

- Work with trading systems groups to create data models and feeds to extract and load the data to be used in web applications. 

- Create RESTful interfaces for other developers to access data. 

Requirements 
- Passion for transforming large amount of data into compelling visual information. 
- Expert in front-end technologies such as JavaScript (JQuery) & HTML5. 
- Expert Java developer. 
- Expert using Spring MVC or similar framework and the full Java Web stack. JSP, Servlets, Tags, etc. 
- Strong understanding of data warehousing 
- Excellent organizational, presentation and communications skills. 
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. 
- Ability to work with multiple groups across reporting lines 
- Web services 
- Ant/Maven 
- Spring framework 
- Unix/Shell scripting 

Skills that will give you an advantage over other candidates: 
- Experience with visualization of "real-time" data. 
- Experience with FIX protocol. 
- Experience with RMDS 
- Knowledge of JavaScript Data Visualization packages like amCharts. 
- Knowledge of OTC Financial Markets
